Grievance Procedure

 

This grievance procedure is for the following:

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964

Title IX of the Education Amendment Act of 1972

Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990

Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973

Age Discrimination Act of 1975

Title III – Language Instruction for Limited Proficient and Immigrant Students

 

Title IX Policy

Any person believing that Monroe Public Schools, or any part of the school organization, has inadequately applied the principles and/or regulations of (1) Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (2) Title IX of the Education Amendment Act of 1972, (3) Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, (4) the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and (5) Title II of the Americans with Disability Act of 1990 may bring forward a complaint, which shall be referred to as a grievance, to one of the local Civil Rights Compliance Officers at:
