Over the last few years the Technology Department has been developing the MPS Support Portal. This portal has several different applications within it. Each application is for a specific use. When a user logs in they will only see the applications that they have access to. This portal can be accessed from inside or outside the district. Below we have included a brief description of these programs to help familiarize the users with the various applications.
MILEAGE
The mileage application is designed to keep track of the mileage that you need to have reimbursed. It keeps a running log of mileage to and from the places you had to travel. It will also calculate and tabulate it into a handy monthly report that you print out and turn in.
PRINT SHOP
If you have a print job that is too large for the building printers you can send it to the print shop. This application will walk you through a user friendly wizard that will allow you to customize your entry and allow the print shop to have a fast turnaround on your job.
STUDENT MANAGEMENT
This application allows staff members to reset student passwords quickly and easily. We received a list from each principal as to who will have access to utilize this application. If a staff member believes he or she needs to have the ability they need to see their building administrator.
STUDENT PROGRESS
This application allows staff members to select levels and add comments to help track a student’s progress. Currently the Student Progress Monitor is only for elementary students. You will be able to track an individual student or an entire building, grade, or class.
TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT
This application allows staff members to submit a detailed work order ticket for any technology related issue. This will allow a technician to obtain, update, or even ask you a question about your issue in real time. You can also check your pending work orders to see these updates, as well as check the issues that have been completed.
