Custer Elementary School provides academic and social development for all students by ensuring diverse learning experiences that integrates technology, enhanced home-school connection, and differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners.

Beliefs:

• Custer students will recognize the need for a solid, balanced academic foundation incorporating the four basic areas: language arts, math, science, and social studies.

• All students will be safe, responsible, and respectful. *Technology should be incorporated into all subject areas and accessible to all students.

• The use of technology will prepare the 21st century learner to be creative, innovative problem solvers who are able to collaborate and communicate.

• Professional development is never ending because the needs of our students are always changing.

• Custer staff believes there will always be the need for differentiated instruction.

• Parents are an integral part of each child's education. Open communication between home and school is essential to achieve student success.

• Custer staff will create a safe learning environment where students are respectful of all differences by providing consistent and clear expectations.
