Elementary schools educate all students in grade K-6 in seven different buildings.  Pre-school is located at the former Riverside Elementary School.  Elementary school students are assigned to their schools based on geographic attendance areas within the district boundaries.  Schools of Choice options within the Monroe District are available to elementary families based on available space at each school.  Information about this and other Schools of Choice options available to our students is available at the MPS Administration Building, 1275 N. Macomb St., Monroe.

Monroe Middle School houses all 7-8 grade level students.  Monroe High School and Orchard Center High School houses students in grades 9-12.  The district also operates Monroe Virtual High School.
