Asbestos Hazard Response Act

AHERA (Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act) regulations require the Monroe Public School District to notify its staff of the presence of asbestos-containing building materials in the district buildings.

The district plan of the periodic surveillance, re-inspection and management of these asbestos-containing materials is available at the Administration Building, 1275 North Macomb Street, Monroe, MI and the Operations Department, 4920 West Albain Road, Monroe, MI. Individual building plans are available in the offices of each district school building. Questions regarding the plan(s) should be directed to the office of the Operations Supervisor, 734-265-3333.
