MID WINTER FOOD DRIVE – EUCHRE TOURNAMENT

CANNED AND NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS WILL BE DONATED TO GLEANERS FOOD BANK

CHECK IN 5:30pm (game play 6pm-9pm)

COST IS $15 PER PERSON OR $10 WITH YOUR DONATION OF 3 OR MORE NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS AT TIME OF REGISTRATION

To Register: We accept cash, check (payable to Monroe Public Schools) or credit cards (MC/Visa/Discover/AMEX).  Payment can be made by phone (credit card only), mail or in person.

RULES:

• Must be 18 yrs. or older to participate.
• Everyone will get an assigned group and will play with rotating partners within that group.
• Everyone will also be given a scoresheet with an assigned number.  This sheet will also include your partner rotation and assigned table for that particular game.
• We will use the honor system and everyone will keep their own score.
• Everyone will deal once around the table to complete a game
• Everyone will play with the cards they are dealt regardless of the hand given.
• The dealer must call trump if everyone else has passed the opportunity to call trump (Stick the Dealer)
• If you are caught in a renege, the opposing team will get 2 points
• A successful loner hand = 4 points
• A loner hand where you only take 3 or 4 tricks = 1 point
• A Euchre = 2 points to the opposing team
• A misdealt hand = a re-deal by the same person
• Prizes will be given to the highest scores in each group
