The following Monroe High School students participated in the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association Solo and Ensemble festival at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017. 

Earning first division ratings and blue medals on solos were:

Jacob Foulkrod – cello

Maggie Pasko - cello

Adyn Hallahan – violin

Clifton Williams – violin

Nicholas Howerton - flute

Abigail Snow - trumpet

Kaylee Faulk – French horn

Ensembles earning first division ratings were:

Adyn Hallahan and Jacob Foulkrod – string duet

Events earning second division ratings and red medals were:

Megan Phillips – clarinet

Blake Lambert – tenor saxophone

Grant Prater – trumpet

Daniel Snow – baritone

Grant Prater, Abigail Snow, Kaylee Faulk, Daniel Snow – brass quartet
