This is a Sister City Exchange program which is open to any Monroe County student in grades 9th through 12th grade. It is a 3-week program in July. You DO NOT need to know any Japanese! The cost is approximately $1800-$2300, depending on the airfare costs. It is a wonderful opportunity for any student! You will get to stay with 2 host families and experience the Japanese culture, including a tea ceremony, kendo and other traditional practices. You will get to visit Hiroshima as well.
