Waterloo student wins art award

Artwork prepared by Waterloo Elementary School sixth grader Brianna Stubleski was selected as one of 51 finalists in the Meemic Foundation art contest, called Meemic Materpieces.  For her art work, Brianna received a Kindle Fire HD Tablet.  Because of Brianna’s art work, Waterloo has earned a $300 grant to purchase art supplies.  Brianna (left) is a student in the classroom of Amanda Iacoangeli.  Pictured is Tim Wittman from the Leski Meemic Insurance office, who made the presentation to Brianna and to the school at Waterloo’s talent show.  Brianna’s artwork will be hung at Meemic’s headquarters in Auburn Hills.

Success!
