This week the Child Advocacy Network(CAN) of Monroe County celebrated their annual Heroes for CAN nominees. A CAN Hero is anyone in the community who has made a significant contribution to the work of the local CAN Council this past year. This year Raisinville's very own Diana Staten was recognized for supporting the at risk youth of our community. From advocating for students and families with local agencies to organizing school events to support a welcoming and safe environment and strong families, Diana does it all. Her passion for students and desire to go above and beyond make Diana a hero every day! Congratulations!!
