How do I get a catalog?
There are 3 different ways you can receive/view our catalog.

  1. The printed catalog will be sent home with students twice a year -- in September and January. 
  2. A copy may be picked up at our Administration Building. 
  3. The printable catalog may also be downloaded from the main Community Education link in the PDF section.

We now have online catalog and registration at:  https://monroe-public-schools-community-education.coursestorm.com/.  

 

When does registration start? 
Registration begins in August and late December. All dates are posted in each catalog.

 

When does registration end?
Registration for adult classes ends when the class takes place or reaches its maximum number of students.
Intramural sports have specific deadlines listed on the registration forms and on the website.

 

Are there certifications offered with any of the classes?
Community Education classes are for enrichment purposes only, there are no certifications offered.

 

I am interested in teaching a class, who do I contact?
We welcome suggestions for possible future class offerings. We would also be interested in hearing from any adult who wishes to teach a Community Education class. No teaching experience is necessary – only the willingness to share your expertise in your chosen area with other adults or children in an informal, classroom setting. Call 734-265-3170 for more information.

Checks and money orders should be payable to Monroe Public Schools. Payment must be made at time of registration, regardless of registration method used.    

 

What is the refund policy for classes?
Credit Card refunds are subject to the processing fees charged by our online registration service. No refunds are given to students who miss one-night classes. Full refunds will be given for any class cancelled by Community Education.

 

What is the refund policy for Intramural Sports?
Refunds paid by cash or check are returned less a $5 processing fee.  All Credit Card refunds are subject to the processing fees charged by our online registration service. If a refund is requested after team shirts have been ordered, an additional $5 will be deducted from the refund to cover the price of the shirt which the child is entitled to keep.
